My name is Funmy. I’m a student in Nigeria and also a freelance writer.

I urgently need to raise ₦555,000 (around $370) within the next 48 hours to get a laptop and settle some school-related needs.

I’ve never owned a laptop before. I’ve been doing all my freelance writing jobs using just my phone, but lately it’s no longer working well — it crashes, freezes, and makes it almost impossible to submit my clients’ work.

I’m already having issues with some clients because of delays, and I’m scared of losing more work. Writing is the only way I support myself in my own little way, and without a proper device, I can’t keep going.

I’ve tried everything I can think of, but nothing has worked. That’s why I’m here, asking for help — with hope in my heart.
